Clara's 10th birthday

I thought you might enjoy a little peak at our birthday celebrations yesterday. The teacher declared a school holiday, so we enjoyed a fun leisurely day together (which did include violin lessons and orchestra rehearsal).

We started the day out right with some birthday doughnuts.

Time to open presents.

Birthday Party

John's Birthday

Yesterday was a great day to celebrate the birthday of one of the favorite men in our lives. The weather has been cool here in Ohio {most unusual for July!}, so we just had to cook out and eat outside.

We decorated the porch.

Grilled up some steak and hot dogs.

Tossed salad.

Ice Cream Cone Cakes

I guesss you could say I’ve been on a cupcake craze lately. Not sure why, except the ideas I’ve come accross looked like they would be fun to make. These Ice Cream Cone Cakes were quite simple to make.

Directions

Just use a cake mix, line a cupcake pan with baking cups, fill them with batter and top them off with a cone. After cooling, remove the liner, ice and decorate. Enjoy!
