In the past, I’ve peeled and cut apples into pie sized pieces, mixed in some Fruit Fresh and bagged them for the freezer. This method works great for pies and apple crisp.
Today, I am freezing apples for pie. I will add the sugar and spices before freezing. Can’t wait to see how this turns out.

We made this yesterday during the girl’s club. I know I said we would try the apple pizza cake, but I realized it wasn’t going to fit into our timeframe. The apple crisp turned out to be a successful substitute. The girls had no trouble preparing or eating it, for that matter.
