How to Make a Globe Ring

Pin it here.

I am so excited to be able to share this whimsical woodland globe ring tutorial with you today. I can’t remember exactly when or where I first came across this idea, but I knew I would have to try and make one. So, I got on Etsy, did some research and used the gift cards I received for my birthday to order supplies.

This ring turned out way better than I could have imagined. It really is a true statement ring.

For more globe ring inspiration you can browse these Etsy shops. I’ve already found several other ideas I can’t wait to try and make. :)

On to the tutorial…

Supplies needed:

1. Wrap and twist wires to form a base.

2. Place globe over mushrooms to make sure everything fits.

3. Tape ring base to craft surface. Place a little dab of glue on the ring base and set mushrooms in place. Let dry.

4. Add small pieces of moss to cover the wires. Make sure the globe fits over the top. Let dry.

5. Place the globe over the moss and mushrooms. Use a toothpick to spread glue along the base of the glass globe and press down. {Note- I used a long strip of tape to hold the glass globe in place.}

Ta-dah…the finished product!
