Dayton Aviation Heritage ~ National Historical Park

We’re on spring break this week and enjoying a little staycation. Staycations are great for exploring your city and state. So yesterday, we enjoyed exploring the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. As with all our visits to the National Parks so far, we were not disappointed.

The kids completed the Junior Ranger program and earned two badges. {Nicholas was finally old enough (6) to participate and was so proud of his badges.}

All national parks offer the Junior Ranger program for FREE and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The kids thoroughly enjoy it and learn so much. The different National Park websites also offer FREE lesson plans for all you teachers and homeschoolers out there.
