Family Valentine’s Day Party

Valentine's Day

We set the table with our heart plates and pink glasses and turned down the lights for a roomantic {as Nicholas calls it} mood. Our dinner menu included BBQ beef sandwiches, corn and spinach salad.

The kids enjoyed the funny mustache straws I picked up at […]

The glass tile pendants I use for making Glass Pendant Necklaces were giving me fits, but I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. Yay! Hopefully, I can share some of those with you later on this week.

In the meantime, here are some of […]

A Valentine’s Day mantle display wasn’t really something I was planning on doing, but the idea just came to me so I went with it. I mean, […]

Clara found this box of chocolates while we were out shopping for Valentine’s Day gift packages. I love the mustache, and really, how clever is that?! So the box became the inspiration for our Valentine’s Day card for this year. {Last year the kids made Superheroes and Rings.}

Goals for 2013 ~ February Update

Goals for 2013

Here’s an update on how I’m doing with my goals for 2013. Some are going super and I’m totally failing with others. Overall, I’m very happy with the forward momentum. I am convinced that I wouldn’t have made as much progress, had I not sat down, thought through and written down some goals.

Personal Goals

Complete a Bible Reading Plan. I’ve been doing very good with this so far. I missed a couple […]
