Before I get started on the Window Paper Heart Tutorial, I just have to share with you how super excited I am that my Paper Heart Wreath Tutorial has gone viral on Pinterest. THANK YOU faithful readers for pinning my tutorials. You are truly the best!!!
OK….back to the tutorial.
This hanging window paper hearts project was inspired by Betsy Veldman at Paper • Scissors • SuperHeroes. When I saw her picture I just knew I had to make these hearts for my hallway window.
Supplies needed:
- scrapbook paper
- heart stencil
- scissors
- glue stick
- crochet yarn
- beads
1. Choose two sheets of scrapbook paper.
2. Fold part of your scrapbook paper over. Enough for half of the heart stencil to fit on it. {Here’s a link to some free printable heart shapes.}
3. Fold your heart stencil in half and outline two heart halves on your two sheets of patterned paper.
4. Cut out the hearts.
5. Glue two heart halves together. Make sure you use two hearts with different patterns. Add the third heart half.
6. Cut a length of yarn and lay it along the heart crease. Spread glue on the last heart and place it on top.
7. String on beads and paper circles.
8. Hang up and ENJOY!
