A Homemade Christmas ~ Transparent Paper Window Star Tutorial

Window Star Tutorial

You’ll love how these stars brighten up a room. They can be made in any color to match your decor. Have fun!

Supplies needed:

  • transparent paper which can be purchased at novanatural {I’ve not purchased any there myself, but it’s one of the only places I found that has it available. Please let me know if you know where else to get it. Thanks!}
  • glue stick (UHU is my favorite)

1. Cut eight rectangles 6 cm x 12 cm.

2. Fold in half lengthwise and open back up.

3. Fold all four corners to the center.

4. Fold two outside corners (on the same end) toward the center fold.

5. Fold the seven remaining papers in the same way.

6. Apply glue to one of the triangle flaps. Attach a second folded rectangle.

7. Continue with the rest of the folded rectangles.

8. When you get to the last piece you’ll have to lift one of the pieces out of the way.

9. Once the last piece is glued on,  apply glue to the triangle unfold and press down.
