Looking for something fun to do with your kids? Are you on a tight budget? Why not check out one of our National Parks and complete the Junior Ranger program. It’s a fun family activity, a wonderful learning experience and best of all it’s FREE.
Yesterday, we went and explored the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, where Clara completed the Junior Ranger program and we all learned a lot about Ohio’s inhabitants from 2,000 years ago. The Junior Ranger program at this park is recommended for ages 6 through 12. This changes from park to park, so make sure to check out their website.
What we saw along the way

I hope you’ll give our National Parks and the Junior Ranger program a try. Check out the other parks we’ve visited so far this year.
