John and I are both a little disappointed with our weight loss (or lack thereof) over the last two weeks. We both lost weight, just not as much as we had hoped for. John’s goal for the next week is to lose 5 pounds and my goal is 2 pounds.
Here are the numbers for our 5th weigh-in.
John and I have both been very careful about what we eat and how much we eat. Cooking 30 Meals in a Day and planning out the menu have been a huge help. In order to avoid disappointing numbers at the next weigh-in I am adding two steps to my weight loss efforts thus far.
Eating healthy is super important, but so is exercising. I know that I will not reach my goal of losing 30 pounds if I don’t exercise. My goal for the next two weeks is to fit in at least three 30 minute exercise sessions a week.
2. Drink More Water
I don’t like to drink water, therefore I don’t drink as much as I should. I read the Mayo Clinic recommendations on how much water you should drink and have decided to make it my goal to drink at least eight 8oz. glasses of water a day.
