I am so excited that I lost 3.6 lbs. since the last (disappointing) weigh-in. I’ve almost lost a total of 10 lbs. so far and am seeing numbers on the scale I haven’t seen in years. It feels great! John is also doing super. He lost 5 lbs. since the last wigh-in for a total of 14 lbs.!
At our last weigh-in I identified two reasons for the lack (well really my lack) of weight loss.
1. I didn’t keep enough healthy snacks in stock.
Solution: This time I made sure I checked our snack supplies before making a trip to the grocery. When the cravings hit, there was always an ample supply of fruit, pretzels, and low calorie sweets to snack on.
2. Lack of Meal Planning.
Solution: Finding healthy dinner recipes and preparing them every day was becoming very overwhelming. To solve this problem, I planned and prepared 30 meals in a weekend. What a blessing it has been. Now all I have to remember is to check the menu each morning and pull the meal of the day out of the freezer.
