Here’s a fun recipe for Cherry Chocolate Kisses I tried out yesterday.
I give this recipe 3½ out of 5 stars.
1. I love the color.
2. I was happy that I had all of the ingredients on hand. (I normally wouldn’t have marichino cherries stocked except for that I didn’t make a Christmas cookie that required them.)
3. The recipe was easy and quick.
4. The only problem I encountered was that the dough became sticky when I added the cherries. I probably should have drained them more, but the recipe didn’t mention this. As a result, I couldn’t roll the dough into balls. I scooped up the dough with a spoon and plopped it onto the cookie sheet instead.
5. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t taste more of the cherry, but overall it was a great cookie. Fun for Valentine’s Day!
